It is with sincere sympathy that we inform you of the transition of Mrs. Karen Hoard, State President of the Georgia Association of Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows. 

​

Karen Denise Ford Hoard, President of Georgia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, transitioned peacefully surrounded by her family, Monday December 2nd. She served GAMWMW PROUDLY and supported every arm of the organization. She served GAMWMW as past treasurer during the Glover administration, financial secretary during the Edwards administration, as well as the late President Edwards personal secretary. As state President, Sister Hoard was very personal and effective in her being. She was editor of THE HERALD from 2010 - 2018. She was indeed a woman of faith and love. May her soul rest in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Reverend Richard Hoard and family.
