Happy New Year My Sisters:

We are grateful to God for a brand new year and new opportunities to love and grow as a sisterhood. If you are reading this letter, you received a text message from me to introduce Payton’s Chorus. As you are aware, Dr. Payton’s presidency culminates this year and we want to establish a special choir during her final year as the leader of our organization. Over the last six years, we have observed that she enjoys all genres of music. As such, we would like to make her departure memorable by adding Negro Spirituals and Anthems to our musical repertoire during our IAMWMW Conference in Houston, Texas.

I am looking for IAMWMW sisters who know how to read music in order to form Payton's Chorus. If you are interested in joining us as a member of this special choir, please email me at goshr2@verizon.net. The Leadership Academy

The IAMWMW Leadership Academy is accepting applications for Cohort IV.

The deadline to turn in the application is January 30, 2024.

​

The Leadership Academy is an instructional appendage of the International Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Incorporated.  It is not a separate entity and, therefore, operates in accordance with the Constitution and By-laws of the organization and under the authority of the International President.  It provides in-depth information on the organizational structure of IAMWMW INC., specifically and the function and responsibility of each officer and committee. The academy is a vehicle for fostering the development of strong effective leaders for the 21st century, and therefore, will place emphasis upon research-based leadership skills and highly recognized and accepted leadership concepts.   Effective use of 21st century computer application will be a cornerstone of both classroom and online virtual instruction.
